Group Rules:
  • Entry Fee is $30 for each event. 100% of entry fee money is returned to winners (A portion is added to the year end two-day event).;
  • Greens fees are the responsibility of the player and are paid directly to the course.;
  • It is lift clean and place everywhere except bunkers and staked hazards. No closer to the hole and similar position. Ball not to be moved from rough to fairway, etc.;
  • Bunkers are lift rake place unless otherwise determined for an event. ;
  • It is permissible to move ball away from roots and bare dirt to nearby grass without vastly improving position. The idea is not to move out from under trees to a clearing.;
  • Inside the grip of a standard putter tap ins (~18"). The idea is to speed up play and prevent delays for putts that would undoubtedly be made if appropriate time was taken. ;
  • Sign-up is expected the by the end of the Sunday prior to the event.;
  • Payment is expected before the first Tee off time. Please don't make us add more specific rules about this.;
  • The Group uses a point system where Bogeys are 1 Point, Pars are 2 Points, Birdies are 4 Points, Eagles are 8 Points, and an Albatross would be 16.;
  • Results are based on the difference between points earned and your current points.;
  • Teams are a random pairing of two players from different flights. If there are an unequal number of players per flight, a player may have two partners.;
  • Points are adjusted after each non-end of year event.;
  • Players who earn 7 or more points above their 'points to get' (+7) during an event will have 3 points added to their 'points to get'.;
  • (+5 & +6) will go up 2 points.;
  • (+3 & +4) will go up 1 point.;
  • (-2 & +2) will stay the same.;
  • (-3 & -4) will go down 1 point.;
  • (-4 or less) will go down 2 points.;
  • Event specific rules to be added to the course notes.;
  • Rules to be amended as needed.;
